Using the URI Explorer

The URI Explorer is, at its core, a file system viewer. It is used to view the directories and files contained within any Eclipse project. It provides a tree-view for browsing the projects and directories. Double-clicking a file will cause it to open in the Editor view using the most appropriate editor for the file type. The URI Explorer becomes more than a file system viewer for SWeDE Projects.

The URI Explorer is used to show the URI content SWeDE projects. While it will show any file within any project, special consideration is given to OWL documents. The user can expand an OWL document within the URI Explorer to see any classes or properties defined in the document.

Various tasks can be performed from within the URI Explorer. The available tasks depends on the currently selected item. For instance, the Validate task only appears if an OWL document is selected.
